This dataset consists of a single polygon representing Bailey Peninsula in the Windmill Islands. The polygon was created by clipping the continent polygon in the Windmill Islands Coast GIS Dataset. The polygon was created so the area of the Casey Station quarry relative to the peninsula could be determined and also displayed on a map. This was requested by Graeme Beech (former Station Leader at Casey) who was preparing a report for the Engineering section of the Asutralian Antarctic Division.
