Summary
Abstract:
This map shows the altitude of the base of the surficial aquifer system below sea level. In addition to the test holes drilled in this study, eight others from Parker and others (1955) or from the U.S. Geological Survey files were used to select the base. The contour interval is 20 feet.
Provide fundamental background information that is basic for qualitative or quantitative evaluations of the ground water resource and the hydraulic response of the system to natural or artificial stresses.
