Summary
Abstract: NOAA's navigational charts provide a useful data layer for ocean and coastal
geographic information system (GIS) projects, but these charts use a digital
format (BSB) that is not widely supported by mapping software vendors. Chart
Viewer was created to bring BSB-formatted nautical chart information to the GIS
