Abstract:
Flamingo is a simple interactive mapviewer, no more no less. But this limitation is also the strongest point of Flamingo. With only a handful of tool buttons users can easily use a map. Flamingo offers only the basic tools as zoom in and out, pan, identify and search.
Access Constraints
Flamingo is developed in Flash and requires Flash Player version 7 or higher. Flamingo runs on Windows, Linux, Apple and Unix systems and with almost all modern browsers. Flamingo is tested with Internet Explorer, Firefox en Opera. Users also report that Flamingo runs successfully in Safari.
